Only I can make me Happy

You saw me happy. Happiness you just couldn't stand. You thought you were the source of my happiness, but to your surprise you were not. Only I can make me happy.

You see, I love me. I love me from head to toe, inside and out. When I look in the mirror I smile. Only I can make me happy.

Dont fret, you'll find someone else's happiness to control, but not mine. I'm free from you, and free from the world's definition of happiness. I do the things that bring me true joy. I live in the moment with no regrets. And if it doesn't feel good to me, I don't partake in it. You see, its all about me. Only I can make me happy.

My happiness is here to stay, so if you're waiting for it to leave, you might as well go away. I changed the way I think, changed the things I say, changed the material I read, and changed the people I surround myself with. I have a true, positive transformation with a new outlook on life. You see, I love me. Only I can make me happy.

~Love yourself first and keep it happy.

Romance Cafe Appreciation Christmas Dinner

The Romance Cafe met a Jubans Creole Restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for an appreciation dinner for local consultants. Guest consisted of Baton Rouge area consultants, one special guest, and Kirkland Randall of Kryptonian Fotos was the photographer for the night.

Consultants showed up in their Christmas colors and santa hats bearing gifts for unknown recepients for dirty santa game. Each guest received a complimentary dinner which consisted of ceaser salad, two entree choices: Grilled Pork Chop or Stuffed Chicken Breast, Seafood Dressing, Sauted String Beans, Cheese Cake with Praline Sauce, and a personalized bottle of wine; everything sponsored by The Romance Cafe. Special gift baskets valued at $200 were presented to Ursula Grigsby, Romance Cafe Training Coordinator and Francheska Felder, consultant of the month, who was not in attendance.

The night ended with Dirty Santa. Every guest that bought a wrapped gift picked a number and selected a gift from the table or had the chance to steal from someone else. The game started out innocent. No one stole, until Toya Davis, Romance Cafe consultant, elected to fire things up. The game was loads of fun; items from Bettysville purses, silver chains, and zebra make-up bags where amongst the gifts stolen. However, the very last gift was a Coach clutch. I think Erica Smith, Romance Cafe consultants, and Ursula Grigsby, Romance Cafe Training Coordinator are still fighting over it.

Great conversation, delicious food, Christmas games, gifts, and pictures by the tree. Oh what fun!

Merry Christmas from The Romance Cafe.

Good Girls Don't Go all the Way

"No pussy for you," is what I prided myself on. "If I keep this good, tight, plump, juicy coochie to myself I can't get hurt. I'm keeping my emotions in my pocket." I didn't want him to touch me, didn't want any type of intimacy, and didn't want to love, because good girls don't go all the way. Good girls kept there goodies to themselves. "My vagina is sacred, and no parts of you are going in it, unless I say so." You see I had to control it all, wouldn't let the natural...just take place, because good girls don't go all the way.

Yes, I let some great ones pass my way. They were handsome, respected me, loved me, I have to say, but good girls didn't go all the way. Big ones, long ones, full of girth, none of that mattered, I knew my worth. I had to fight my feelings and stick to my gun, because good girls couldn't have that much fun. I was young, free, and ready to do the deeds, but what would people think of me?

I released a little of my control, allowing the body to take hold. "Let him taste it if you must, but don't allow your feelings to digest too much, because good girls don't go all the way." What a selfish lover I was, I have to admit. I'd sit there and let him eat me without a simple touch. "You can look, you can reminsce about it in your mind, and I may let you taste it, but good girls don't go all the way."

Are you Afraid to Love?

"I see" myself in a new light.. such a beautiful light. I recognize that "I am” the source of my happiness. The more “I love”, the safer “I am”. “I go” beyond anyone's limitations or destructive criticism of me. Most of us have such a strong habit of judgment and criticism of others that they cannot see through "breaking the habit." Criticism breaks down the inner spirit and never seems to change a thing only creating anger, self hatred, and neglect. You know “I feel” we have a choice between LOVE and FEAR. Most fear change, fear of not changing, fear of taking a chance, fear of not taking a chance, fear of loving, fear of not loving, fear of intimacy and then fear of being alone. We have a fear of letting people know what we need genuinely, and who we are. Then here is the big one...the fear of letting go of the past! Then on the other hand we have love. Love is the miracle of life! Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives, and “I am” not speaking of vanity or of being arrogant or full of ourselves; that is not love. That is a form of being afraid as well. “I am reflecting on the love of having the utmost respect for self and gratitude for everything around you, realizing the world is a reflection of you. One thing “I have” learned is to FEEL the fear and DO IT ANYWAY..GO right INTO IT and THROUGH IT! As “I grow” and fine tune “my best” only gets better. I have accepted that “my decisions” and “my lessons” are always perfect for me and that “I will always express and attract LOVE wherever “I GO” and “IN” whatever “I DO”.
