Get educated on AIDS Baton Rouge

Recently, the Baton Rouge area was ranked second in the nation in AIDS cases. That finding stunned many, but not the founders of The Romance Cafe. The romance home party business started in December 2009 with those statistics in mind. Their mission being to empower individuals to be comfortable with themselves, educate America on safe sex, and at the same time, provide a means to supplement their income.

For the past 10 years, I have counseled, educated, and assisted AIDS patients in the Baton Rouge area. Their ages ranged from 18 to 65, sadly the mortality rate was high amongst this group. This statistic alone shocked, appalled, saddened, and ultimately brought me to tears. When I met my business partner she had experienced something similar, but on a different level. Coupling our knowledge, together we were able to build a company designed to educate America.

The Romance Cafe advocates strongly for safe sex practices and abstinence. During presentations consultants educate their clients on HIV/AIDS statistics and preventive techniques. In addition, the founders, COO’s, and CEO of The Romance Cafe take time out of their busy schedules to pass out condoms to adults, speak at community events, and hold open forums to increase community awareness regarding HIV/AIDS.

Join The Romance Cafe on September 11, 2010 at the Lil Red Dress Affair, where T. Dangerfield, Co-Founder of The Romance Cafe will speak about HIV/AIDS awareness. All attendees will be able to get tested on site.
